MEETING TIMES

The Society meets on the THIRD Tuesday of each month at 1.30 pm except JANUARY and OCTOBER.
On the third Tuesday in October the Annual Dinner/Luncheon is held in lieu of the monthly meeting. Guest Speakers are invited on a regular basis. Watch the Community Heartland section of the Singleton Argus for details.

HOW TO JOIN

An Application for Membership form can be obtained from the society either by calling at the museum during opening hours or by post. The applicant must be nominated and seconded by a member of the society. Once the application is received it is presented to the Management Committee for endorsement. The Secretary will notify the applicant of the outcome.

MEMBERSHIP FEES

Joining fee $10 (one off) Yearly fee $7 plus $4 for postage of Newsletter. Locals may collect their Newsletter following the March, June, September & December meetings.

RESOURCES

The Records and Research Room of the Museum contains a huge amount of historical data which is available to members, students & the public. Resource materials include: library, photographs, literature, microfilm of Singleton Argus and Maitland Mercury, AGCI indexes 1 & 2 and much more.

RESEARCH BY THE SOCIETY

The Society carries out research for the public - fees for service available on request. Members of the public can source information by paying entry fee and a charge applies for use photocopier, microfilm reader etc. High School students and Non members can source information for $5.00 per visit.
