Information About the Society
The Singleton Museum and Historical Society is a non-profit organisation operated and supported by Members of the Society who volunteer their time. The society is funded through community donations and income from Admissions, Publications & Town Tours.

If you wish to make a donation the the society or museum, please contact us. Monetary donations are greatly appreciated and welcome. We accept donations of historical items that pertain to Singleton history, however we have limited space and are very selective.
OUR AIMS
The aims of the society are to preserve artefacts used by the Aboriginal inhabitants, European settlers and residents of the area for the appreciation of present and future generations.
The museum reflects these aims through its displays and research activities.
RESOURCES
The Records and Research Room of the Museum contains an extensive Library available to members, students & the public.

Royal Historical Society Journals & Newsletters from other societies

Singleton Argus 1874 to 1970 - Hard copies to current date.
Maitland Mercury 1843 to 1877

RESEARCH
The Society welcomes inquiries by members of the public and students. Our research team is available to assist on Tuesday's. Please contact us for an appointment if you need help on Saturday's & Sundays.
Entry fee to the Records & Research Room is free for Financial Members. For Non Members a charge of $5.00 per visit .
Extra charges apply for photocoping, microfilm reader use, scanning, photographs & print outs.
Large research projects for the public is available on a fee for service basis - details available on request.
